Residences

In 1981, thanks to a three year grant from the Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities (OMRDD) we opened our first group home, Cortlandt Hills, in Westchester, NY. From there, our program has grown to included several residential programs, plus day habilitation, training, and non-profit businesses that provide real jobs for our loved ones. Below are images of some of our facilities.

Cortlandt Hills, Westchester, NY (Established 1981). Our first group home and the first successful group home for Autistic Adults in Downstate New York.

 

DeClemente Group Home, Riverdale, NY (Established 1986).

 

Grace Cavanagh Group Residence, Riverdale, NY (Established 1993).



Delafield Apartment, Bronx, NY (6125 Established 1995). In 1995, we opened an apartment for two young men with Asperger’s.

Delafield Apartment, Bronx, NY (6129 Established 2008). In 2008, we opened an apartment for two young ladies with Autism.

Corlear Apartments, Bronx, NY (Established 1999). In 1999, we opened Corlear to provide a home and support for four men in two separate apartments.

UES Apartment (WR), Manhattan NY (Established 2004). In 2004, we opened an apartment for a high functioning autistic person.

UES Apartment (JH), Manhattan NY (Established 2007). In 2007, we opened an apartment for another high functioning autistic person.

UES Apartment (RHR), Manhattan NY (Established 2007). Also in  2007, we opened another apartment in Manhattan for another high functioning autistic person.

We now have several residence in Manhattan for high functioning autistic people which will be followed by other residential programs.
